Some months ago, Blair took over as our golf pro. He is, in our view, a first rate teacher and certainly the best we have had. He has the ability to explain golf techniques simply and effectively even to students who have no pronounced sporting ability. He is utterly patient. His lessons are full of gentle good humour. Perhaps as important as anything else is his infectious enthusiasm and a growing confidence, all of which he has instilled in us. We cannot praise him too highly. For us it was a great loss when he announced that he was leaving this country to take up a golf teaching position back home. We are sure he will be difficult to replace

I started with Blair as a complete beginner and now thanks to guidance and patience I am able to play courses such as the Belfry without looking out of place. I have been told that I am quite a difficult person to teach, my boyfriend had tried to help but this only ended up in a quarrel. Blair has a very friendly and laid back attitude that makes you feel immediately at ease. He gives clear instructions breaking them down into smaller more manageable actions, all with the patience of a saint. If he senses you are not able to get something he will think of different ways of describing it or different drills to try - to find what works for you. He is also very supportive and is great in building your confidence, something I am realising is very important in the game of golf.

Why should I take a golf lesson?

Were you aware that the average golf handicap hasn't changed for decades despite improvements to golf equipment. If the best players in the world need coaches then it is fair to say that you will benefit from instruction as well. Both Blair and Murray are experienced Professionals who enjoy helping their students reach their full potential by analysing and correcting faults in a simple but effective manner.

Practicing the wrong things on a regular basis will ingrain bad habits that lead to annoying swing faults that can become difficult to eliminate. That's why it is essential to have a good understanding of the basics before you spend hours practicing something that may not be correct.

Lessons on a regular basis are essential to maintain technique and to ensure continued enjoyment from the game. Coaching is available on an individual, group or clinic basis. Coaching can be organised for SCHOOL or CORPORATE groups.

Video Analysis is available to better understand coaching concepts. Each lesson can be recorded so that you can easily see your progress over time. You can also compare your swing against the worlds best players.

Refresher Clinic

The Refresher clinics starting on Tuesday 10^th June at 6:30pm and Saturday 14^th June at 9am still have a couple of spaces.

Has your game reached a plateau? Unsure if you are doing the correct things? Come to a refresher course to iron out any faults that may have crept into your game. We will cover full shots, chipping, pitching and putting.

All equipment and balls provided.

When: Tuesday or Saturday

4 consecutive weeks, 1 hour per week.

Beginners Clinic – NEW DATES advanced warning

I have just set the dates for the next 2 beginners clinics and already they are FILLING FAST, particularly the Tuesday classes, so get in QUICK. They will start on Tuesday 8^th July at 6:30pm and Saturday 19^th July at 2pm. We are nearing the end of the current beginners clinics and everyone is make some huge improvements to their game.
